Arkansas Arboretum

The Arkansas Arboretum 71 acres (29 hectares) is an arboretum located within Pinnacle Mountain State Park in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. Outdoor exhibits, audio messages, identification of trees and plants provide excellent learning opportunities.

Blue Spring Heritage Center
Eureka Springs, Arkansas

The Blue Spring Heritage Center 33 acres (13.4 hectares), formerly the Eureka Springs Gardens, is a historic tourist attraction containing native plants and hardwood trees in a setting of woodlands, meadows, and hillsides. It is located at Highway 62 West, five miles (8 km) west of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, USA, and open daily to the public during warmer months for a fee. Blue Spring Heritage Center is an incredible experience of the natural world.

The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks

Botanical Garden of the Ozarks (Garden) opened in October 2007. The first phase of construction consists of nine themed gardens and a timber-frame multipurpose building on 9 acres of 90 acres available for development. The aesthetic of the Garden reflects the unique natural and cultural heritage of the Ozarks. From its opening, the Garden focused on educational programs.


Garvan Woodland Gardens

The Garvan Woodland Gardens 210 acres (850,000 m²) are a botanical garden located at 498 Arkridge Road by the Hot Springs National Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA. Verna Cook Garvan, a long-time resident of southern Arkansas, was founder and benefactress of Garvan Woodland Gardens.

South Arkansas Arboretum

South Arkansas Community College, P.O. Box 7010, El Dorado, AR 71731
Located adjacent to the El Dorado High School, this 13-acre site exhibits plants indigenous to Arkansas’s West Gulf Coastal Plain region and exotic species including flowering azaleas and camellias. Operated by the South Arkansas Community College, the arboretum offers walking trails, a pavilion, restrooms, and parking. It is open daily from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. except for designated holidays.
